Ned rig fishing is a must try for new or veteran anglers. They simply catch fish day in and day out. When throwing a ned rig, you never know what you can catch. Walleye, bass, northern pike, trout, catfish, and panfish have all been fooled on these.

Recommendations:

Rod- Medium light (spinning rod) is usually perfect, but Light and Medium can work better in certain situations

Terminal Tackle- 1/10oz-1/8oz ned jigs or heavier if fishing current

Line- 8-15lb braid or 6-10lb mono/fluorocarbon 

Retrieve-Try hopping these baits along the bottom and around structure. Pauses and twitches are a must
